What To Do If the Product Melts During Transport

If you receive our package on a sunny or warm day, it is best to refrigerate the jars  BEFORE opening. Melting may have occurred. The product is sealed but if melted, the product may spill out!  The quality and moisturizing benefits are not affected by the melting, but the body butter may change consistency and lose volume as it solidifies more like a body balm.  

We have had customers scoop out the butter and whip it back up with an electric whisk beater. The butter has to be very cold for this to work.

During hot weather, we do our best to protect our products from melting in transit. 

• We check every product before it is packed for shipping
• We wrap our delicate products in bubble wrap or another padding to add another layer of insulation
• Each jar or bottle is sealed to prevent leaking.

As a result, most products shipped in warm weather arrive without melting. But please understand, there is no way that we control the high heat temperatures of summer, trucks, and mailboxes.
